Here it is the handout for the seventh chords exercise I explained today in class.

Understand the logic before starting to learn it.

Visualize every chord and play always without looking at the keyboard.

Let your ear tell you if you are playing what you want to hear. If you don't, find your way till you hear what you want to hear. 

Take it slowly and in brief chunks. The exercise is about listening and feeling your body as you play, not about playing mistakes and getting stiff. 

Start with one category of chords and stay there until you feel you can play it blindly and by heart, with ease.

Despite the way the are witten in the graphic, the chords in closed position (1-3-7) must be played as a block. The chords in open position (1-7-3) must be played starting with the bass note, and then reaching for the seventh and the third.
